Kitchen
From the dining area, with a direct view of the natural stone kitchen (equipped with stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, fridge with freezer, blender, toaster) you can have a wonderful conversation about the preparation of Italian dishes.
Livingroom
The cozy living area, as the central hub, flows directly into the kitchen and onto the terrace. With a flat screen TV, music system, games and books, no family member will be bored.
Terrace
The 36m² covered terrace offers protection from the sun and rain. In the hot Italian summers, this is usually the center of life. Here you can sit in the glow of the fairy lights into the night and enjoy the enchanting view of Barchi.
Lounge
At night, but also during the day, the Chill-Out Lounge in the Portico, with its cozy armchairs, offers the opportunity to retreat.
Garden
Mediterranean flair wherever you look … in addition to olive trees, rosemary and palm trees, the 3000m² garden has numerous areas that make the Italian lifestyle tangible and invite you to linger.
Poolarea
In the 5x10m² oval pool with a depth of 80 -180 cm, young and old will get their money’s worth. A little away from the house, with Roman steps, a ladder and a diving board, nothing stands in the way of swimming fun. A large pavilion with a dining table by the pool offers sun protection on hot days in addition to the umbrellas.
Our recommendations for a special and authentic vacation experience
The area offers numerous opportunities to keep yourself busy. For example, when visiting the small castelli (villages) on the hills, you will always be surprised by a small bar, a nice chat, the picturesque alleyways or simply a wonderful view of the hilly landscape or the sea.
A visit to the coastal town of Fano with its special stores, harbor and old town, a trip to the Furlo Gorge and kayaking there or to Genga to the Grotta di Frassarsi, one of the largest stalactite caves, are all within a distance of + 30 km.
Perhaps you simply want to spend a day swimming by the sea in Torette or Fano.
A visit to our neighbor Michael Natmessnig for a tasting at his Azienda Felice, or to Fiorini or Guerieri, the local wineries, is always interesting.
You can also always find something at the potter Giombi in Fratterosa and watch him at work.
Numerous weekly markets in the area allow you to visit the market almost every day, on Thursdays directly on site in Orciano or on Wednesdays in Calcinelli, or on other days at larger markets in Fossombrone, Fano or Senegallia.
In various stores you can buy and/or taste the regional delicacies, cheese, ham or handmade pasta to name but a few.
Not forgetting the numerous restaurants in the area, from simple, tasty with flair, to selected specialties, e.g. truffle menus.
In addition, there are various regional events virtually every season, such as the truffle fair in Aqualagna at the turn of the month October/November, the snail festival in Sorbologno at the end of May or the Collemarathon at the beginning of May, to name but a few.
In May, the Mille Miglia is usually held nearby, a highlight for all classic car fans.
In summer, there is a kind of village festival in the surrounding area with different themes almost every weekend. Here you can also indulge in culinary delights while dancing.
